Inside Out

Not the movie, but introspection of me,
The first time I heard the word,
Introspect… What am I to inspect?
Suspect or expect? Alluring I thought.

The word got me thinking of how I should tear it apart…
Challenging it seemed… Quite perceptive and keen.
Loving and sweet. I’d say pretty neat.
Peaceful and decent. Not really recent.

Mysterious and deceptive… Playful maybe corrective…
Child-like and a tease… This word might do as it please.
At the end of the day, love is the highlight and takeaway.
Encouraging and supportive… Generous and silently talkative.

A curious kitten who’s a dog person…
Exploring life one step at a time.
A challenging eversweet riddle to enjoy as you listen to a wind chime.
Is this introspection or is it just the rhyme?
