Life & Poetry

Life has a funny way of happening,
We, humans, have a funny way of settling,
Some prefer meddling while others crave existing,
In a chaotic world of structure and order,
That always seems to be ending.

Life is sweet and unsettling, scary, and unrelenting,
As scary as it may seem, humans tend to be the scariest dream.
Not a nightmare because we’re not exactly trying to wake up, but merely to adapt.
Who are you to start a revolutionary act?
A thinker in 2023 or just a lost cause in the action stream?

Write me a poem and tell me of your dream.
Tell me who you are and what you can be.
Show me and let me see. The way you wish everything to be.
Write it down for me and don’t worry I am not too blind to see,
because I own the darkness and the darkness owns me.

Life will always happen, but don’t worry you have poetry and me.
