The Search Within

In life, most people search for meaning, definitions, and answers. The questions that provoke the mind and the spirit. The kind of flame that follows in a beating heart is a reflection of life and meaning.

The instruments have different types and so do humans. Through a breath, we live and with one last breath, we die. The search and the journey are what can be reflected in the eyes as we tell our stories and go about our day, life happens and so do we.

The act of living is in itself beautiful. As humans, we choose to live even though it’s not easy. It’s a choice and we make it every day as we get up out of bed and that accounts for existence. That persistence, power, and fire are just beautiful and addictive.

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,

With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
And — which is more — you’ll be a Man, my son! — Rudyard Kipling

The following is an illustration of my search in a poem that was inspired by my dear friend, Abeer Ameer:

Make sure you play this little quick game in the description.
