The GaoKao
The Gaokao is the Chinese version of the American SAT. In case you do not know what that is, the American SAT is the Scholastic Aptitude Test. Meaning, it is a college admission test used by universities. It takes 3 hours.
The top score on the SAT is 1600. Now, back to the Chinese version. The Gaokao is one of the toughest exams worldwide. It is a Chinese student’s only means of entering a good university. Students prepare for the Gaokao since kindergarten, in order to actually have a chance. It is ranked as the 8th most difficult exam in the world.
It happens annually. Mostly, in June. Probably, on the 7th. It takes about nine hours to finish the exam. Therefore, it is split up into two or three days. It is out of 750 marks. Zhong Fangrong managed to ace the Gaokao.
The CCIE
The second most tough exam from where we stand is the CCIE- Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert. This exam is offered by Cisco Systems. It helps companies identify internet experts.
People who are interested in the field apply to take the exam so that they can qualify as internet experts. It is ranked as the top hardest exam globally. It takes 8 hours to complete this exam.
It is divided into two sections and those who do not pass the first section of the exam are eliminated and cannot qualify to have the next and final section of the examination.
The GATE
The final exam we consider hard and taunting is the GATE- Gratitude Aptitude Test in Engineering. It is one of the hardest tests worldwide. It takes place in India. It is an admission exam for students who are interested in pursuing postgraduate studies or job-seekers who are interested in Engineering.
It takes 3 hours to finish. It is valid for 3 years from the date of the certification. It was initiated in 1983. It takes place annually. Usually, in February.
